The renownend Banda Sinfonica Municipal de Barcelona under the baton of José R. Pascual-Vilaplana is going to perform "Out of Earth" at l'Auditori in Barcelona during the Festival Emergents.

"Out of Earth" by Oliver Waespi was originally commissioned by the Aulos Wind Symphony and is a meditiation in three movements spanning 40 minutes of music inspired by the creation mythology in Ovide's Methamorphosis. The Banda Sinfonica Municipal de Barcelona is going to perform this work alongside compositions by Visuerte and Ellerby. Whilst the orchestra will be conducted by José R. Pascual-Vilaplana, with euphonium soloist Adrià Cisneros. Further information can be found here .
