During a competition of the highest calibre, featuring Switzerland’s leading symphonic wind orchestras, the Sinfonisches Blasorchester Feldmusik Sarnen laid the foundation for its victory with a compelling performance of the set work, Quadrants des rêves by Franco Cesarini.

Their subsequent rendition of One Sound to All, performed before an enthusiastic audience, left no doubt as to which orchestra would claim the coveted title of Festsieger at the Eidgenössisches Musikfest. The remaining podium places were secured by Blasorchester Stadtmusik Luzern in second place and Symphonisches Blasorchester Kreuzlingen in third.
